Untethered

The literal meaning of ‘Untethered’ is not physically tied, connected or fastened to something. The painting draws upon that with the analogy of human life and the free soul. It is an interpretation of the artist where the subject lies bare bodied on a fresh bed of grass in a vast meadow with the company of no one but the silent inner voice. Free of all connections with the outer world, the noise, the chatter- the ‘Self’ is floating free through the river of life. One is at peace, joyful, calm and ready to navigate all the challenges of life if we look at it internally. Make connections with yourself, live in the moment, identify more with the spirit than form and exist without striving, without explanation. Be ‘Untethered’- Freedom from having a closed mind, stay open, receive, stay conscious and you will receive permanent joy and happiness.
