HARMONY

Harmony is a reminder to humanity in the light of the unexpected and devastating circumstances the world is in. The pandemic has changed lives forever and has been instrumental in making certain revelations. The most important revelation was that the act of being caged can be a tormenting experience. Secondly, the need to protect nature and beings around to have a balance in nature has come to our notice. The moment man starts to think only of himself and embark on a mission to grow economically, he forgets the nature and life around him. It only took a microorganism to teach us how important it is to exist and co-exist. The woman in the painting depicts universal motherhood and the bird represents the epitome of nature and its beauty. It’s the harmony that keeps life going and the painting intends to spread the message. The painting was also influenced by the great message H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, our compassionate ruler, gave to humanity by stopping the works going on a construction site to keep a small bird’s nest safe till her offspring were born and nurtured to good health.
