This painting is an abstract cityscape that captures the enchantment of a city life brimming with opportunities, new hopes, fun, freshness, and excitement. I used acrylic paints as a medium with palette knife to give it depth and complexity, and used several coats of paint as well as several layers of texture paste. Colors have traditionally served as an inspiration to artists. As colors profoundly influence our attitude, intellect, and soul. I enhanced the atmosphere to a degree of peace and beauty by using the shades reds, orange, blue, cadmium yellow, and many shades of teals and pink. I chose a concept and color palette for this painting that will appeal to people from all walks of life and cultures. The painting has colour therapy effect. The uplift the mood and sense of esthetic beauty in the interior of any place chosen for this artwork.As it is a large size painting it attains a sting presence in the personal spaces or any work place. It leaves its viewer with a calming, pleasing, and energizing effect. The line patterns shows the high rise buildings that are not just concrete structures; they are actually our homes, offices, and work places filled with all the comforts and luxuries of life. They are created by the combination of nature and man. Here is a good description of the pinnacle of civilization that humans have reached. The use of green by the artists to highlight the beauty of the trees and other flora in nature was judicious.
