Bloom

To bloom is the greatest achievement of a growing flora. Blooming is what makes us appreciate all the beauty that it encompasses. We spot and get attracted to plants not for their lush green workers but for their delicate pops of color, their blooms. I have tried to do justice to this beauty standard of blooms with this new alcohol ink artwork of abstract blooms. Any painter's strength lies in their abstract work because it’s where we truly get to express ourselves and our visions, and the usage of alcohol ink further allows me to put the soul to paper and still create pieces full of color and life! I love the colors of this particular piece so much because they remind me of what it feels like to lie in a garden of purple, pink, and blue bougainvillea flowers. They’re really peppy colors that i have presented in a modest way to show the delicacy and subtleness of the beauty of a blooming flower.
