This painting is inspired by the most widely used vegetable, the Onion. I have painted the outer layer in grey while the middle is painted in the original colour - to show that preserving our food is contingent on our active effort, failing to do so would erode its culinary potential with tome. The painting aims explore the important of food sustainability by showing how bleak our food and future would be if we fail to embrace the new philosophy of food.
