Breathe – Finding hope in despair !

The bubbles in my painting reflect my feelings, my emotions & my state of mind! Started this abstract painting just before the pandemic. a lot happened during the year. Never felt like going back to finishing it. A year later, revisited the painting with a vengeance & decided to finish this mixed media painting, done in acrylic & topped with resin for a smooth glassy effect. However, pictures do not do justice to this piece of work. With the current scenario around the world, the only one thought that comes to my mind is to Breathe Hard, Breathe Freely, Breathe Openly - without fear!! Having said that, the twin painting of this series, is chosen by the international jury at the 8th Geoje Art festival in Korea. It hangs in the art museum for permanent viewing, facilitated by The Haegeumgang Theme Museum & Yunkyung Art Museum, South Korea.
