Efflorescence

This is an artwork that is a bit different from my usual style of working. It involves the use of negative space and a black backdrop to create contrasting imagery and popping colours. This artwork is something that I truly enjoyed creating due to how different it looks. The pinks and green hues in this black background bring a pop of colour and are sure to brighten up any space they are in. This has been named Efflorescence to aptly depict the materialisation of this artwork, and how the flowers bloom even in the darkest of times. This reminds me of a humble quote from a childhood cult favourite: “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
