Thunder

An apt name for a running horse- like a lightning storm. A running horse is a spectacular sight which I could manage to paint using a striking combination of colors. Clear blue water and sand and a running horse is a perfect scenario (for me) to enhance that grace a horse has. I have dulled out the background to focus on the subject which also shows the speed of this Thunder. It was a pleasure to paint this piece as the brush was just flowing with the subject. I added a but of blue-grey (a subtle touch) to try something new yet blend well and not stand out.
