Noor

Al-Noor in the language of Arabic means light✨ It is a surah in the Quran called Surah Al- Noor. In the discoveries and interpretations of scholars, the light mentioned can be the light of Allah’s guidance for man. In all the major religions including Islam, light is a symbol of goodness and virtue. It always refers to matters of man’s faith and emotions, and in my opinion, that’s exactly what art depicts as well. Art is meant to be understood and felt and expressed, besides being admired. Incorporating both of these, this is another one of my alcohol ink art pieces on NOOR. It has the most extraordinary blend of pinks and greys with the perfect amount of gold to balance it all out and show the light, or shall I say, the Noor in my art.
