This painting is part of the series "The Thousand and One Nights" that is inspired by cities I visited and I hope to visit again to stay there for longer times. I named the painting after the historic city Syracuse of Sicily, which I visited for one day in 2017 and hope to visit again and spend some more time in this inspiring city. I made the painting in February 2021. The medium is oil on canvas of size 48x60 inches (122x152 cm). I have signed it on the front. The stretched canvas is staple free sides, wired on the back and with no need for framing. It's ready to hang.
